Frequently Asked Questions

Let’s start with the question we get asked the most. How much does video cost?  It really depends on several circumstances, for example;

Location: Filming in one location or multiple effects the length of the shoot.

Time: How much time we need to allocate for setup and filming depends on the production value.

Crew: How large (or little) the crew is depends on the needs of the production.

Edit: How complex the video edit is – particularly if it involves animated or graphical elements.

Quantity: We can shoot a single video or batch shoot for multiple videos (See our FAQ about content plans).

Most importantly, we’d love to see your company flourish no matter how big or small the company is, so whatever the budget we can find a solution.

Contact us today and we can talk through your options before providing a detailed proposal and cost breakdown.

As a starting point we’ll arrange an e-meeting and we will fill out a short questionnaire to help us understand the project requirements. From there you can have as much or as little input as you’d like. In any case we’ll keep you informed at every step of the process.

We have access to thousands of tracks via our royalty-free music library.

We’ll provide you with three music options where you can select the ‘vibe’ of the video and we’ll go from there together if you’d like to explore more.

Not every project requires a voiceover, but when it does we can provide you with a range of different voiceover samples to choose from.

If we are shooting with you in your work place we usually ask that we have the space available an hour before we shoot so we have time to set up before everyone arrives.

If we’re shooting an interview, we will share the script (unless you have your own) or questions before we start filming to ensure you and your colleagues have the opportunity to prepare themselves.

Please also share the schedule with your team so they know where and when to be on set – this helps to keep things ticking over nicely on the day.

Of course! We have access to hundreds, if not thousands of graphical assets and will ask your preference in the pre-production stage – We also ensure that we receive any logos and fonts from you before we begin. It’s all about the branding!

We’ll share a link to a site called Frame.io. This tool allows you to comment exactly where you need changes made in the video.

As standard, we offer our clients one round of amends. The structure of the project will be addressed in pre-production so we require feedback on tone, utilising your branding and generally addressing final tweaks and corrections. If your organisation requires more than one round we’re happy to factor this into the budget.

We believe inclusivity is key so we provide subtitling as a free service to include as many viewers as possible.

Please request subtitling when briefing us about your project to avoid any delays in delivering your final video.

We film everything on professional broadcast-quality 4K cameras and use additional kit – such as gimbals, radio mics, lighting kit, or green screen – where appropriate. We continually invest in new kit and software to keep up-to-date with the rapidly changing standards of the industry.

We generally keep backup copies of any footage and project files for 6 months. For our regular content plan customers, we keep all footage and projects for the length of their contract. We can keep footage and projects for longer on our data server should you require: this will require a small additional payment.

Some of our clients’ projects include sensitive information. If there are concerns about data sensitivity we’re happy to delete all our copies on completion of the project.

For conference and event films, we can turnaround the edit very quickly and even edit social media clips on-site if needed – this involves more crew but we can factor this into the budget.

Other projects i.e. impressive promos or longer-form documentaries can require more time in post-production.

We will ensure to understand your requirements in our brief so we can deliver to you exactly what you need, when you need it.

There’s no guarantee of what makes video content go ‘viral’ and we’d be wary of any organisation that promises to achieve this. However we’re happy to offer advice on distributing your content to the widest possible audience and can recommend some of our trusted collaborators who specialise in SEO and social media if you wanted to explore this further.

You’ll receive a link directing you to Frame.io. The video will be made available for you to download quickly and easily, without any watermarks.

Many of our clients require ‘batch shoots’ or ‘regular content plans’. This enables them to schedule their content months in advance to maximise their engagement, whilst keeping costs and time spent on content creation down.
